I had a slow day today. I enjoyed a brunch with a good friend, went on a long walk in the dog park with another friend, chilled at home, had a relaxing bath and found my destination for the upcoming holidays.
Even though my sleep cycle is still out of balance, I feel well rested tonight.
Creating space for ourselves to give us time to relax is key. Self-care starts where you let yourself forget about the rest of the world.
I will dream about mountains and old buildings tonight.
