We are designed to build expectations. We grow up among expectations. From the harmless ones to daunting ones, pressuring us to fit into frames we force ourselves into.
It’s easy to get lost in the ever changing dynamics of life. Nothing ever turns out the way we planned earlier. You can’t plan with 100% accuracy. But that’s OK, life is a challenge. It doesn’t have an end until it ends. There’s no good or bad way of living life – it’s an individual experience for each and every one of us.
We meet on the way, sometimes gather around and form groups, with which we grow together. But after all, two of us can never have the exact same experience. Even when we share an experience, it will mean different things for each of us.
Never be daunted when you feel lost. That’s a side effect of living. That means you grow and learn. That means it’s time to re-evaluate what’s important. To take two steps back, zoom out and look at the bigger picture.
Challenge your expectations. Reset them. Try to play with the idea that everything’s possible. Look for the things that are important to you, prioritize and break your goals down into bite-sized junks. Conquer your goals one step at the time.
Those who care will always be there to support you in whatever you decide to do.
Accept that change is a constant good force and expect to be challenged.
Life, after all, is an adventure.
