Ode to Joy

I heard Beethoven’s 9th Symphony live at the Brandenburger Tor tonight, by the Berliner Philharmoniker. Such a perfect summer night! ❤

I ❤ Berlin!

Berliner Philharmoniker – Beethoven: Symphony No. 9

Staring at the stars

Tonight, the Moon is closer than usual, therefore it appears to be bigger and brighter than ever. It is also a full moon. Taking a look into its light, I was wondering about the illusions of distance.

Sometimes, when the sky is clear in the night, I look at the stars and wonder who else among my friends and family is looking up at the same time. Wondering if they see the same lights, the same constellations. Sometimes this makes me feel like they are closer to me, as we are all travelling in the same boat in the cosmos; sometimes, this reminds me of the physical distance between us; sometimes I am thinking of someone close, yet still feel like the distance is huge between us.

I was watching the Moon tonight and it simply amazed me.

Plans and expectations are for those, who are weak at heart.

After a nice New Year’s Eve and a perfect start to the new year, I am looking at the stars and wondering what the future would bring. I know it will be fine. We will remain under the same stars and we will learn.

2018 is another year to create our tiny little dreams below the stars.
